Bu kitap, Anadolu etnoarkeolojisindeki çeşitli konuları ele alan seçilmiş araştırma makalelerinin bir derlemesidir. Kitap, okuyuculara bu disiplin içindeki son araştırmalar ve saha faaliyetleri hakkında fikir vermeyi amaçlamaktadır. Ayrıca kitap, ele alınan geniş konu yelpazesi ile Klasik Dönem Öncesi ve Tarih Öncesi dönemlere kadar uzanan farklı zaman dilimlerine atıfta bulunmaktadır. Araştırma makalelerini derleyen editörler olarak bizler ve kitaba katkıda bulunan araştırmacılar, çok disiplinli yaklaşımın Etnoarkeolojideki önemli rolüne ilişkin genel anlayışı kabul ediyoruz. “Anadolu'da Etnoarkeoloji Araştırmaları (Prehistorik Dönemden Günümüze Kadar)” kitabının, Anadolu Etnoarkeolojisi çalışmalarına büyük katkı sağlayacağını ve önemli bir boşluğu dolduracağını ve gelecekte yapılacak bu tür çalışmalara bir rehber olacağını düşünüyoruz.

This book is a compilation of selected research papers dealing with a variety of topics in Anatolian Ethnoarchaeology. Book aims at providing the reader with insights on recent research and field activities within this discipline. In addition, the book refers to different time periods ranging from the Pre-Classical and Prehistoric Periods to the wide range of topics covered. We, the editors of the research papers, and the researchers who contributed to the book, acknowledge the general understanding of the important role of the multidisciplinary approach in Ethnoarchaeology. We think that the book “Ethnoarchaeological Studies in Anatolia (From the Prehistoric Times to the Present)” will contribute greatly to the studies of Anatolian Ethnoarchaeology and fill an important gap and will be a guide for such researches in the future.
