This book is a reading based academic English training textbook that is specifially designed to help civil engineeering freshmen year students to learn and master technical vocabulary and terminology in such a spesific field.

The book will also enable students to understand the technical texts written in English. In this 2nd edition without changing the frame of the book, some minor changes have been made. In the appendix, a glossary of the civil engineering terms is given.
