Twelfth Night
Twelfth Night (1623) is a comedy by William Shakespeare (1564-1616). Illyria is the setting of the play; it is an ancient region on the eastern coast of the Adriatic Sea and covers some parts of modern Crotia, Montenegro and Albania. Twelfth Night is a celebration of romantic love and many people consider it is a traditional romantic comedy. The play was probably finished between 1600 and 1601, but not printed until its inclusion in the First Folio in 1623.
